SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
“A Balanced Approach to Living, A Study of Ecclesiastes” - Pastor Ehlert - May 10, 17
In Part 1 of this class, we learned that while the greatest pleasures will come in heaven, God gives us many opportunities for enjoyment on this side of eternity. How do we keep them in proper perspective, both enjoying earthly pleasures without being dominated by them when we know that life is a "breath". In light of what we learned what does Solomon mean when he writes, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, etc." We will learn just how destructive envy can be.
WOMEN’S BIBLE CLASS
A new Women's Bible Study series will begin the week of May 4 and conclude the week of May 18 (3 sessions). We will be discussing the book of Habakkuk - "The righteous will live by faith." (Habakkuk 2:4.) Habakkuk is overwhelmed with the things happening in the world and calls out to God. Do you feel the same way? Class is offered on Tuesday nights and Thursday mornings, same material - Kristine Friebe on Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm (in person and on Zoom) and Nancy Schneider on Thursday mornings at 9:00 am (in person). We will be using handouts for this study.
