MY DISCIPLESHIP PROCESS

God has made you his child through faith in Jesus Christ as your only Savior from sin, death, and hell.  God, now, has called you to continue a life long process to become like Christ.  Beautiful Savior exists to encourage you to keep moving forward on your discipleship journey.

Membership or Discipleship?

This 75 minute introductory class encourages you to review what it means to be a member of a local Christian church.  It also challenges you to understand what it means to be involved in a life long discipleship process.

Life With God

This class meets four times (three hours each).  Basic doctrine is reviewed:  The inerrancy of the Bible, the three views of the Lord’s Supper, the end of the world scenarios, and why Lutherans baptize babies.  Non-members who have not gone through a “Lutheran Confirmation” process may become members through this class.

Old Testament / New Testament Overview

This class meets three times (90 minutes each).  The first two lessons provide an overview of the 39 books of the Old Testament.  The third lesson provides and overview of the 27 books of the New Testament.  Special focus is placed on the ability for every Christian to read and understand the Bible.

Personal Bible Reading / Prayer / Devotional Life

This class meets one time for two hours.  The goal is to teach Christians how to feed their own faith when a “church leader” is nowhere to be found.  How do you conduct a “Family Devotion?” or “Bedtime Devotion?”  What should I do in my “quiet times” with Almighty God?  This class will help you get started – or keep on going to the next level.
